VVS Murari, a renowned musician, composer, and an educator comes from a family of musicians. He is the son and disciple of legendary musician VV Subrahmanyam. He is also the disciple of Semmangudi Sri. Srinivasa Iyer. Murari has traveled widely and has been part of many reputed festivals around the world. He has also shared the stage with many veteran and eminent musicians & percussionists. Murari being a thinking musician, has innovated new concepts such as Carnatic Philharmonic Orchestra and introduced A-Capella in Carnatic music. Murari is also an Entrepreneur managing an art related company (SaMaa Arts) in the United States, and also the founder director of VVS Foundation, India. He holds Masters degree in management and has vast working experience in the corporate sector having held senior management positions and handled global implementation projects at reputed banking institutions
